N-Terminal Brain Natriuretic Peptide Prohormone (NT-ProBNP) is an inactive peptide prohormone of 76 amino acids and is activated when cleaved at its N-terminal portion releasing Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP).
Contains N-terminal Histidine tail
Molecular Weight: 10-11 KDa

Application:

Blood NT-proBNP levels are used for screening and diagnosing Acute Congestive Heart Failure. Also used in specific applications in life sciences.
